Authenticity to a place, the inhabitants, and an idea is our goal for each project. Over decades in practice the firm has worked in many different regions of the country and internationally with the intention of creating a built form that belongs to that place and time.

A building is not an object placed on a blank site, but is instead an experiential realm mediating the occupants’ connection to the environment, a sanctuary in the world, and a responsible steward towards the maintenance of the planet.
